Dragon update: East, West and the 2026 rumor boundary
Use the developer’s released Dragon update to distinguish variants from a supposed future rework.
BloxFruitsInfo editorial notes · Corrected 2026-10-19
The released update comes first
The developer’s Dragon Update notice is dated December 16, 2024. It describes East and West Dragon and says permanent Dragon grants two transformation options. That is a released-version reference, not an announcement that the same rework is waiting for a first launch in 2026.
The former short article told readers to hold Dragon because its value was expected to double after a future release-date announcement. No source supported that prediction. The prediction and an unsupported gacha probability have been removed.
Identify the item before comparing an offer
A physical East Dragon, a physical West Dragon and permanent access are different specifications. Inspect the actual game item rather than relying on a chat message saying simply “Dragon.” Our reference table deliberately separates East and West; the captured source does not supply a permanent value for this table.
Use the same item specification when comparing two publisher estimates. A difference between East and West is not a time-series price rise. Nor does a high point total establish that either variant is better for your device or playstyle.
Assess a new rework claim
Look for a dated developer announcement naming the change. Distinguish a teaser, an announced future release and an update that has actually reached the game. A video title or reposted screenshot alone does not establish a release date, new damage formula or future trading price.
For historical token handling, the developer published a separate Dragon Tokens notice. Read it as a dated policy for that release rather than a promise about a current trade. Use the trade checklist before accepting an offer today.
